This is one of those awkward ‘about me’ posts. In my experience, very few people read them. Many are cringingly awful and all are fairly boring. But, no matter, this one is mine.
My name is Sam and I am studying my first year of a journalism degree at University College Falmouth. It’s in Falmouth. I’ve been spouting my unwarranted opinions for at least five years and been writing them down for three. A lot of the time I don’t think through what I’m saying which can lead to testy confrontations and heated debates. Usually I end up worse off and it’s all very embarrassing.
Originally, I don’t come from the UK. I come from an island called Guernsey, that’s in the Channel Islands. Closer to France than England, but we all speak English, drive on the left and support the losing football team.
When I’m not doing university related stuff, which let’s face it, is most of my time, I play American Football on the offensive line for the university team (go Tridents). I play video games, notably Call of Duty, Uncharted and Fifa. I also attempt to run an online magazine which you can find here. It started on Christmas Day and so far, it’s not going as well as I had hoped.
